Cookie Program
This is the main fundraising program for Girl Scout troops that runs January through March every year. Girl Scouts learn different types of selling, budgeting, and marketing skills depending on their troop level.

Fall Product – Nuts & Chocolates
Fall Product is an opportunity for Girl Scout troops to start earning money and learn simple management skills by selling nuts, candies, magazines, and other small items. This program is primarily intended for friends and family and it happens just in time for the holiday season.

Camporee
A fun focused weekend event held in the Fall at Camp Arnaz. This event is for all troops in our Service Unit from first time campers to seasoned campers and is open to all Girl Scout troop levels. Troops do not need to camp overnight and can participate for the day on Saturday.
Day Camp
Every Summer a group of Girl Scouts plan and run a weeklong themed summer day camp in Santa Barbara County. This is open to all troop levels, Girl Scouts Cadette and above can join the planning committee early fall and help make the magic happen.
Kaleidoscope
A three-day skills camping event held in the Spring that only happens every other year. This event focuses on teaching Girl Scouts outdoor skills and training. It is for Junior level troops and up. Troop Leaders are welcome to volunteer even if their troop is not participating. The next Kaleidoscope is in 2026.

Juliette Gordon Low Birthday [End of October] Celebrate the birthday of the founder of Girl Scouts with a fun activity led by a local troop
Feed the First Responders [Early December] Honor our first responders during the Holiday season with homemade goodies and snacks
Holiday Parade [Early December] Join local troops and walk in the Goleta Holiday Parade
World Thinking Day [End of February] Celebrate Girl Scout and Girl Guide traditions from around the world with your local troops.
SAM and Me [Spring] An event planned for Girls Scouts and their Significant Adult Male
Astronomy Club [Bi-monthly] A girl scout led astronomy club that holds events every other month. Open to all, not just girl scouts. They usually meet at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum to enjoy their free Star Party. To join send them an email with your information.
